Focus Construct was engaged under an executed Design and Construct contract for major electrical infrastructure works at the Woolworths-related logistics warehouses at 338 Bradman Street. The contracting principal was a Mapletree-related company, with bank guarantees used in lieu of cash retention on later claims.
The scope was a large live-site electrical upgrade: planning/design; two new main switchboards; energy metering system (EMS); extensive consumer mains and submains; new/modified distribution boards across warehouses; circuit consolidations; cable containment; new switchroom construction and make-good of the old switchroom; temporary generator interfaces; factory/site acceptance testing, commissioning and as-builts. Delivery required night works, Energex interfaces, service cutovers, and continuous warehouse operations.
