Focus Construct was engaged as principal contractor for a major players' facilities upgrade at the Sunnybank Rugby Union Club, 162 Granadilla Street. The form of contract was AS 4902-2000 Design and Construct, with project management through Real Project Solutions (RPS).
The works are multi-trade alterations and additions to the club: demolition, piling/civil/concrete, blockwork, structural steel, carpentry/deck, metalwork, roofing, waterproofing, tiling/epoxy, toilet partitions, painting, electrical, hydraulics, mechanical, fencing, landscaping/irrigation, and provisional items. Outcomes included a new media centre, new offices, new high performance gymnasium, new café, new amenities block and a 400m² viewing deck.
