Focus Construct was engaged by the State of Queensland (Department of Education) as principal contractor for the two classrooms & kitchen refurbishment at Redland District Special School, Thornlands. Ridgemill was an active Project Manager, and the Project Trust Account was applied.
The works comprise a multi-trade special-school classroom refurbishment on a live campus: demolition and make-good, ceilings/partitions, doors/hardware, joinery, flooring, painting, cladding/roofing interfaces, civil and landscaping, hydraulic/mechanical/electrical/security upgrades, PWD toilet D&C, MSB, fibre, roof, playground provisional items including ramps and walkways to new modular classrooms. Delivery included IFC drawings/specs, dilapidation reporting, PCG/weekly reporting, full O&M, and a formal Certificate of Practical Completion.
