Focus Construct was appointed by the State of Queensland (Department of Education) as principal contractor for the Narangba SS New Music Hall. Project Management / Superintendent's side is administered through Faction Consulting. Progress claims were under the Building Industry Fairness Act 2017.
The works are a new multi-trade school music building on an operating school campus: structure (concrete, steel, brickwork), roofing/trusses, architectural finishes, acoustic treatments, glazing, joinery, electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, fire, landscape and associated external works, with full IFC design packages, staged building approval, certifications (Form 12s), O&M and as-builts. Delivery included a formal construction program, PCG meetings, and variation management due to ground conditions through to PC.
