Overview

Focus Construct is the head contractor to Redland City Council (RCC) for the Long-Term Holding Kennels at the Birkdale Animal Shelter (261–267 Old Cleveland Road East, Birkdale). The engagement is under AS 2124-1992 General Conditions of Contract, on a lump-sum basis with no rise-and-fall and only limited provisional items. The works are a new long-term dog holding facility comprising kennels and isolation rooms, laundry and stores, concrete structure and slabs, masonry, structural steel, roofing, windows/doors/gates and fencing, hydraulics, electrical and communications/CCTV, stormwater, external/civil works, and full approvals, certification and close-out.
