Focus Construct was engaged by Epoca Construction on Brisbane City Council's Archerfield Wetlands District Park Catchment Centre at Durack (Bowhill Road). The head arrangement was a formal Agreement under the AS 4000-1997 framework, with a lump-sum subcontract sum and a 12-week construction period to practical completion.
Focus's package covered multi-trade internal and external finishes to the new Catchment Centre, including ceilings and partitions (plasterboard, plywood, OSB linings, acoustic wall panels, bulkheads), doors and hardware, glazing, painting, tiling, joinery, metal cladding, balustrading, roller shutters, waterproofing, signage, sanitary hardware and related fitout works, together with associated preliminaries, coordination and certification support. Works were delivered on a multi-trade site under a head contractor, to architectural CD drawings with fire compartmentation and compliance requirements typical of a public-facing Council facility.
